1967 MGB
This MGB was the daily driver of the Art Editor on Classic & Sports Car magazine and with a 110 mile a day round trip, it had to be reliable and willing. So, when the engine suffered a partial seizure, the cylinder head was entrusted to Grace Engine Developments.

Hardened valve seats with a three-angle cut and bronze and bulletted valve guides were fitted before gasflowing the head among other modifications in order to gain extra performance. This car was subsequently driven by a number of motoring journalists and was generally claimed to be the best MGB they had ever driven, thanks to the work by James Goldstraw.
